I am able to work in different ways, adapting my approach to your individual needs. 

In addition to talking and thinking about whatever is causing you difficulty, I am particularly interested in the impact of emotional issues on the body and this might be something which we can talk about. 

I am happy to work creatively. We can use art materials, focusing on the body, writing, storytelling or even song lyrics/poetry to explain how you are feeling.

I usually work with clients on a weekly basis. We agree a 50 minute appointment slot on the same day and at the same time each week and this is your slot for as long as you want it. I work with clients on an open-ended or fixed-term basis and we can discuss what you feel would work best for you. 

There is no one size fits all approach to therapy and therefore all my clients’ needs are different. My experience is however that regular and frequent sessions create the best environment for developing a therapeutic relationship. 

Some clients find that a few sessions are enough to help them feel better and some clients have appointments for several months or even years.
